6:53 pm - A long week...
You Are Rowlf the Dog

Mellow and serious, you enjoy time alone cultivating your talents.
You're a cool dog, and you always present a relaxed vibe.
A talented pianist, you can play almost anything - especially songs by Beethoven.
"My bark is worse than my bite, and my piano playing beats 'em both."

1:14 pm - Pop ups and attachments.
I can't stop coughing.
I've been coughing for the last fifteen minutes.
Lunch for me will consist of a hot long bath and Tiger Balm.
Tiger balm used to clear up everything for me as a kid.
I smell it and have those childhood memories pop up.
A good smell with good attachments to it.

current mood: refreshed

Driving to the gym this morning I was witness to a good sunrise in my rearview.
Still there, still grand, still feel like a turtle with the sun on my skin.

Thursday was a decent day at the real job, followed up by a good night of cards.
Friday, I saw clients at the real job, actually went out and what not. Some people are just horrible. And I had a horrible day.
I have learned a bit on the two days so far, which is good and bad, meaning I may not have the skillset necessary.
The "Rounders" have been missing me on the scene; been awhile, seems almost like I'm in the Scooby gang, now.

current mood: relaxed

Started a "real" job today.
Computer Consultancy.
That and my resurgence of gym time makes Le a tired and sore person.
May write more later.

1:12 pm - Words mis-learned and misunderstood, maybe it was in the delivery.
I loved the word profane.
I love leaving myself notes to find later; pants pockets, bookmarkers, wallet.
How excellent it is to leave profane notes to oneself.
Goldmines of profanity!

Found a some Top ten lists that I must of made late last year.
Scratching one from the safe things to say to a vegetarian.

Talking with the Game-girl(poker room waitress) early one morning 4-5am about our weekend plans.
I told her I was going to go shooting.
A look of fright later, "You hunt animals?!"

"No,.. I don't hunt animals."

I think I got a more frightened look then.
I haven't a clue as to when my brain switched profane and profound.

current mood: rejuvenated

You Are an Old Soul

You are an experienced soul who appreciates tradition.
Mellow and wise, you like to be with others but also to be alone.
Down to earth, you are sensible and impatient.
A creature of habit, it takes you a while to warm up to new people.

You hate injustice, and you're very protective of family and friends
A bit demanding, you expect proper behavior from others.
Extremely independent you don't mind living or being alone.
But when you find love, you tend to want marriage right away.

Souls you are most compatible with: Warrior Soul and Visionary Soul

Repeated phone calls from Mrs. Nichols looking for a return call.
I return it.
Asks for my phone number including area code.
And then asks me if I am Marcellus Wallace.

Einstein is doing well now.
Infact she is doing better than she has in a long while.
I have to give her 2 pills a day for the infection but she is up and jumping around.
The vet thinks she is in pretty good shape for her age.
A few more days and I take her back for a recheckup and to discuss more long term care.

How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong, and somehow I was wrong about everything.
Solaris

Good quote from a strangely appealing movie. Strangely appealling because I can't label why I find the movie enjoyable. I find it enjoyable but do not consider it entertainment. The Merriam-Webster definition of entertainment/entertaining/entertain is for shit-te.

Finished three books in the last week and a half. And I'm fiending.
Feed me Seymore feed me books.
Any suggestions.
Looking for enlightment, not really entertainment and it probably doesn't even need to be enjoyable.

6:47 pm - Been a while
My Grandmother passed away last night.
I just visited her on Monday.
She cried when she woke to see me in her hospital room.
